How to play

  1. In cannon levels, tap a balloon to fire at it. Pop the balloons that fit the rule or answer the question, and let the others land.
  2. Popping a wrong balloon cracks one of your 3 shields. A right one that lands just counts as missed.
  3. In the other levels, sort, fill in or order the numbers, then check.
  4. Score 60% or higher to unlock the next level.
  5. Levels 1–2 are free with no account. A free account also unlocks levels 3–4.
  6. A small monthly subscription unlocks every remaining level.

Questions and answers

What maths does Primefall Bastion teach?

Number properties: odd and even, multiples, factors and factor pairs, prime numbers, square and cube numbers, divisibility by 3 and 9, prime factors, and highest common factor and lowest common multiple.

What age is it for?

Ages 8 to 12. Level 1 starts with odd and even numbers; the last levels reach highest common factor and lowest common multiple, usually met at 11 or 12.

Is there a calmer mode for the falling balloons?

Yes. The Calm setting, or your device's reduced-motion setting, slows the balloons right down and turns off the bonus balloon.
